About me

After a 40-year career as a software engineer, I now devote my time to photography and writing.

My photographic interests span all genres from street and documentary to landscape and portraiture. I’m especially interested in capturing images that help understand how creativity intersects with contemporary life as society, culture and technology move at a faster rate.

I also write about the impact technology is having on creativity. As our tools become more powerful and accessible, this pivotal moment is redefining creativity, as the boundaries between human imagination and machine capability continue to shift, sometimes not for the better.

I hope to initiate thoughtful discussion about where, as a society, we are going and how we can define a future where technology enhances, rather than diminishes, our creative potential.

This is my personal space on the web where I write about photography, technology and creativity and share my photographs. I am also on Bluesky and Medium, my only social media platforms. I refuse, out of principle, to have anything to do with the devil spawn that is LinkedIn, Meta and X or any platforms run by the technofeudalists.
