Cacti Portraits with the OM-D

So, whilst I won’t be getting any awards for intrepid travel photographer of the year for these shots it was interesting to see what I could do with the some willing cacti, the OM-D and a few, in camera as well as post processing, filter effects. All images taken using the OM-D with M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 macro lens. The background is the Lastolite plain black velvet collapsible background (great accessory though an interesting challenge to fold back into the bag).

First off a closeup converted to black and white using onOne’s Perfect B&W filter (Machinist Normal).

Next is also post-processed in the same way, this time using the Ilford Pan F filter.

Next two images are taken using one of the built-in filters in the OM-D (Dramatic Tone) with border added using Snapseed.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
