Birmingham Photo Walk

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the photographer and educator Verity Milligan for a photo walk around sunny Birmingham (and yes, it really was a glorious sunny day). The walk started at Impact Hub, Birmingham in Digbeth and was one of the ‘rewards’ for those of us who had supported the setting up of Impact Hub through its Kickstarter campaign started by Immy Kaur. It was wonderful to see how far Impact Hub has advanced since I first visited it on a not so sunny day in January. It’s now a hive of activity as the volunteers are bringing it alive ready for the launch events taking place over the next couple of weeks.

There were a group of eight of us on the photo walk and following a short presentation by Verity at the hub we set off taking in the sights of Digbeth and its great street art, the Custard Factory, the Bullring Market, New Street station, the Mailbox, Brindley Place, Paradise Circus and finally the Library of Birmingham and Victoria Square.

Here are a few of my photographs from a great day out.
