Birmingham – City of Colours

This weekend was the City of Colours festival in Birmingham marking another great event in our city following on from the previous weekends TEDx Brum. City of Colours takes place in and around the Custard Factory in the “creative quarter” of Birmingham. It’s aim is to to promote unity, diversity and freedom of expression and to make a difference to the community through collaboration and co-operation.

Happily the typical British summer weather (i.e. torrential rain and flash floods) lifted for the day and the street artists and visitors were able to make the best of a great day out. Here are a few images from my brief visit to the festival.
