Well that was quite a year. Like many people my photography has taken something of a backseat this year and those times I have ventured out I find many of the images I have captured very much represent the mood of the times: emptiness, loneliness, people having to make do.
Here’s a selection of images from 2020. Limited by the fact much of my portrait work has dried up because of studios being closed and social distancing being in place.
On this sad day when we finally end our 47 year relationship with the EU and it seems things can hardly get any worse, we at least have two small rays of sunshine appearing as we enter the 21st year of the 21st century. Trump is no more and we have an effective vaccine against COVID-19.
It is Not Forever!

Maybe it really won’t be forever!
Here’s to a better 2021.
